Nannie Estelle Davis

 Estelle Amos Davis, 98, got her wings and went to be with the Lord, Wednesday, July 5, 2023. She was the widow of Walter B. Davis, Jr. She is survived by her children, Walter "Danny" B. Davis, III (Mary Ann), Deborah "Debbie" Elam(Nick); sister, Betty Motley; brother, Doug Amos; and numerous other family and friends. Estelle was a former president of the Ginter Park Garden Club, President of Women of The Church at Lakeside Presbyterian Church. She was a seamstress, quilter, wife, mother, gardener, floral arranger for Lakeside Presbyterian. Estelle worked at the A&P Corporate Office and Thalheimers Corporate Office. She was a member of Friendship Circle Quilters, Vice Chairman of the Virginia Memorial Quilt Project. A graveside service will be held 11 am Wednesday, July 12, 2023 in Forest Lawn Cemetery. A Celebration of Life will be held 1 PM Saturday, July 22, 2023 at May Memorial Baptist Church, 3922 Old Buckingham Rd, Powhatan. In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Powhatan Volunteer Rescue Squad.
