Nora Kittrell Hargrove

Nora Kittrell Hargrove, born April 5, 1937, passed away peacefully in her home on Friday, August 4, 2017. Nora is survived by her loving husband, Jimmy; her children, Lynn Holthausen, James Squares and Mary Squares; her stepchildren, Jimmy Hargrove Jr. and Alethea Roach; her grandchildren, Todd, Jessica, Trey, Morgan, Roderick, Kaitlin, Kenny, Josh and Kobe and many great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, stepmother, her sister, Mary, her daughter, Laura, and her grandsons, Dion and David. Nora lived in Powhatan, VA and was an active member of Emmaus Christian Church, where she made several close friends. On Thursday, August 10 at 2 pm a memorial service will be held in her honor at Emmaus Christian Church; 1801 Huguenot Trail, Powhatan, VA 23139. Truly my soul waiteth upon God: from him cometh my salvation. He only is my rock and my salvation; he is my defense; I shall not be greatly moved. Psalm 62:1-2.
