Patricia Newman Dickson

Patricia Newman Dickson (Wood) 81, of Cumberland Virginia departed this life for her heavenly Home on October 5, 2022, surrounded by her family. Patricia was born in the District of Columbia on April 7 1941to the late Anne B. Newman and Ward Wood. She was preceded in death by her husband Willis F. (Billy) Dickson, parents Ward Wood, Anne Newman and her adopted father John Newman, brother James Newman, and two grandchildren Spencer and Sarah Dickson.

She is survived by her children Lisa Corbin (Kyle), Tim Dickson, Troy Dickson (Veronica), George Dickson, eight granddaughters and 17 great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews and close friends, too many to name and you know who you are…

Pat was known as wife, sister, daughter, mom, memaw, grandma, momma Pat, and miss Pat. She loved her family first, then fishing, traveling, playing bingo, and in the last years of her life her tablet.

A Celebration of Life will be November 6, 2022 @ 2:00 pm, @ Shiloh New Covenant Church, 665 Anderson Highway, Cumberland VA. 23040 followed by a fellowship meal in Shiloh’s fellowship hall.
