Patricia T. Miller

Patricia T. Miller, 83, died June 8. 2014 at Trinity Mission Nursing Home.Pat was born October 16, 1930 in Blanchester, Ohio to the late George H. and Thelma Barclay Tevault. She grew up in Evansville, Indiana and after graduating from high school, she graduated from St. Mary's Nursing School. There she met the returning Korean War veteran, Gordon Ransone Miller and they were married in 1952 and relocated to Cartersville, Virginia. Pat worked as a supervising nurse at Libbie Convalescent Home,between 1958 & 1974. She then moved to Richmond after the death of her husband in 2000. She was preceded in death by her brother James William Tevault. She is survived by her only son, Michael Gordon Miller; granddaughter, Allison M. Morris; great granddaughter, Hailey N. Morris; brother, John W. Tevault; sisters, Nancy T. Fike and Rita Metzger. Her family wishes to thank the caring staff at Trinity Mission Nursing Home for their compassionate care. The family will receive friends Thursday from 1:30 to 3 pm in the Bennett & Barden Funeral Home, 3215 Anderson Hwy.(Rt.60), Powhatan. A graveside service will follow in the Cartersville Cemetery at 4pm. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Central Va. Food Bank. Online condolences may be made at bennettbardenfh.com
