Percy Lee "P.L." Duncan, Jr. 84, of Columbia, widower of Betty Jane Duncan, went to be with the Lord February 12, 2017. He is survived by three son and their wives, Lee and Paula, Glenn and Robin, Gary and Tricia; one brother, Robert Duncan; eight grandchildren, Ellen, Kathryn, Jane, Sarah, Luke, Tess, Christopher, Spencer; one great grandson, Riley; sister in law, Polly Duncan. He was preceded in death by a sister, Dorothy Mae Scott and one brother, Willie Duncan. P.L. was the owner and operator of P.L. Duncan Trucking Co., member of American Truck Historical Society, a life member of Oakwood United Methodist Church and a Korean Army Veteran. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 6 to 8 pm at the Bennett & Barden Funeral Home, 3215 Anderson Hwy.(Rt.60), Powhatan. Funeral services will be held Thursday, 2 pm, in the Oakwood United Methodist Church, Columbia. Interment church cemetery.
