Rae Tennent Anderson

Rae Tennent, April 30, 2015, this is the day that the Lord has made, let us rejoice and be glad in it for Rae Tennent Anderson went to be with her Lord after living 102 years. She was the widow of Owen W. Anderson. Her bountiful life was well lived as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and homemaker. She is survived by her only daughter, Dorothy A. Samuel (David); two much loved granddaughters, Bryony Gills (Chris), Bennett Franklin (David); step grandson, David Leigh Samuel (Katie) all of Powhatan; step granddaughter, Tiffany Samuel of Chesterfield; eight beautiful and healthy great grandchildren; baby sister of 92 years, Dorothy Hamilton of Richmond; two favorite nephews Bill Tennent (Anne) of Williamsburg, Wayne Tennent (Debbie) of Richmond. Mrs. Anderson was a charter member of Bon Air Baptist Church. A memorial service will be held Wednesday at 2pm in the Powhatan United Methodist Church, 2253 Rosson Rd. with a reception following in the Christian Life Center.
