Ralph Edwin "Ed" Owen

Ed Owen, 70, of Cumberland, passed away August 3, 2018. He is survived by two daughters, Carolyn Buckner (Greg) of West Point, Theresa Boley (Danny) of Powhatan; one son, Bobby Owen of Cumberland; step children, Richie Hanvey, R.J. and Allison Biebee; six grandchildren, Katlin, Owen, Savannah, Mitchell, Victoria and Alivia. Ed will forever be remembered for his love for his family and friends. He was a man full of life and never met a stranger. He served in the military and worked as a truck driver with McLean Trucking and his love for horses and his Barrel Racing family will never be forgotten. Ed was a loving father, pawpaw, and friend who will be missed dearly by all that knew him. The family will receive friends Monday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. in the Bennett & Barden Funeral Home, 3215 Anderson Hwy.(Rt.60), Powhatan.
