Reba Jo Ownby Myers

Reba Jo Ownby Myers, 82, of Powhatan, Virginia, passed away peacefully on July 31, 2023. She is survived by her husband of 64 years John L. Myers; son, Rev. J. Randy Myers (Tammy); daughter, Dr. Tammy Jo Myers Martin (Harvey); sisters, Geraldine Whaley and Evelyn Trent; grandchildren, J. Paul Myers (Amanda), Dr. Matthew Turner, Erik Myers, Kilby Cumbea, Joshua Turner and Kennedy Martin; Reba and John were also blessed with 9 great-grandchildren as well. Reba was known and loved by many. She worked tirelessly for her family, church and job. Nanny Reba will be greatly missed by all. The family will receive friends Friday, August 4, 2023 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Bennett & Barden Funeral Home, 3215 Anderson Hwy, Powhatan.
