She worked for Dillard Paper Company for close to 35 years. After 14 years of employment at The Woman's Club in Richmond, Becky retired in 2016 and was honored with a Lifetime Membership. She and Arlie moved to their retirement home in Powhatan, VA in 2016 where she quickly made many friends by joining the May Memorial Baptist Church and the YMCA.
