Rebekah Elizabeth Bradbury Wilborn Hepler, 80,of Moseley, moved for the last time today. She left her earthly home for a permanent one in heaven on July 19, 2014. Rebekah was born March 23, 1934. She was the daughter of the late Leslie and Sallie Bradbury. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Walter E. Wilborn, Sr. and her second husband, Henry E. Hepler; son-in-law, J. C. Barnette. She is survived by her son, Walter E.Wilborn, Jr.; daughters, Charlotte M. Barnette, Laura L. Wilborn; sister, Rachel Lee (Conrad Holt); brothers, Ernie Bradbury (Shirley), Gene Bradbury (Esther), Douglas Bradbury (Lynne); twelve nieces and nephews; sixteen grandnieces and grandnephews. Rebekah worked in several offices in Virginia and North Carolina, including Southern States, The Great A & P Tea Company, McLane Construction, Wal-Mart and Graceland Baptist Church. She enjoyed artistic pursuits, including sewing, quilting, crafts and jewelry-making. She owned her own personalization shop. She did monogramming, embossing, etching, engraving and custom gift baskets. She always had a smile and loved everyone she met. She had a strong and abiding faith and was an active member of Graceland. A memorial and celebration of her life service will be held at Graceland on July 26, 2014 at 11 am.
