Richard Lee Bohannon

Richard Lee Bohannon, 79, of Powhatan, passed away Sunday, September 24, 2023. He was preceded in death by his parents, David and John Bohannon. 

He is survived by his children, Anthony Adkins (Betsy), Michael Bohannon, David Adkins, and Diane Britton; grandchildren, Jessica, Megan, Tommie, and Alexis; and several great-grandchildren. 

Richard Bohannon was a proud Veteran having served his country in the U.S. Navy. After his time in the military he went on to work as a supervisor for Philip Morris Tobacco retring after many years. He will forever be remembered as a loving husband, father, and grandfather. 

A graveside service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 5, 2023 at Virginia Veterans Cemetery, Amelia.
