Royce S. Goodwyn, 89, of Powhatan, passed away July 22, 2018. He is survived by his wife of 70 years, Barbara L. Goodwyn; three daughters, Jennifer G. Pugh (Glenn), Cindy G. Thomas (Bob), Sandra G. Parker (Gene); two brothers, Archie Goodwyn, R.C. "Pal" Goodwyn, Jr.; one sister, Mary Jane Ransone all of Powhatan; eight grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. in the Bennett & Barden Funeral Home, 3215 Anderson Hwy.(Rt.60), Powhatan. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. in the Red Lane Baptist Church, Powhatan. Interment church cemetery. Online condolences may be made at bennettbardenfh.com
