Sam A. Tatum

Sam A Tatum 85, of Powhatan, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on May 26 2023. He is survived by his wife Barbara Tatum;  children Dennis Tatum (Tammy), Dinah Tatum (Chris) and Glenn Tatum; grandchildren Ashley Tatum (Jamie), Billy Tatum (Leyla), Samantha Anderson (Tyler) and Dale Tatum; great granddaughter Bexlei Tatum and one sister Hazel Johnson. Sam started his trucking company with Dennis in 1984 which is still in operation today. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday 2:00 PM in the Wylliesburg Baptist Church cemetery 655 barnesville Hwy. Wylliesburg VA 23976. Online condolences may be made at bennettbardenfh.com.
