Sara Esther Andre

Andre, Sara (Sally) Esther, 97 formerly of Chalfont PA. passed into eternal rest on March 30, 2017. Sara was the daughter of the late Moses Chambers Permar and Florence Crouthamel Permar. She was proceeded in death by her husband of 64 years, Ernest J. Andre, also brothers Robert, Kenneth, Ralph Permar and a sister Carol Nyce. Sara is survived by a sister Florence Miller of Fountainville, a daughter Angela Fillman, her husband Mark of Powhatan, VA. a son Anthony Andre of New Hope, two grandsons Lucas Fillman (Sara) and Zachary Fillman (Crystal) and six great grandchildren whose Sunday visits she looked forward to and enjoyed. Also her personal caregiver Gloria Melgar Castro.
Sara was a former school teacher in a one room schoolhouse. She loved reading, flowers, cooking and baking. She was a devoted wife, mother and friend to all who knew her. Those who knew her from Pleasantville Church will smile and chuckle as they share stories of Sara and Ernie. Donations may be made in her name to the Alzheimer's association. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
