Stephen Gilman Wright

Stephen Gilman Wright, 79, of Powhatan, VA, passed away on August 20, 2015. Steve was born on January 27, 1936 and was the youngest son of the late G. Kenneth Sr. and Frances Wright. He was proceeded in death by his brothers, Skeeter and Jimmy. He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Hilda, his son, Tim (Barbi), along with two nieces, two nephews and one sister. He was a former member of the Midlothian Masonic Lodge, and he served in the Virginia Army National Guard. A memorial service will be held at Bennett & Barden Funeral Home, 3215 Anderson Hwy.(Rt.60), Powhatan on Thursday, August 27, 2015 at 7:00pm. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the National Parkinson Foundation at www.parkinson.org.
