Steve G. Wriston

Steve G. Wriston, 75 of Powhatan, departed his life on Wednesday, January 26, 2022. He is preceded in death by his father, Curtis Delmar Wriston. He is survived by his wife of 23 years, Susan C. Wriston; his children, Jeffery H. Hackett and Joshua C. Hackett (Melody); 7 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren; 3 siblings, Sandra, Marsha & Curtis; mother, Hattie of West Virginia. As a Vietnam Veteran, Steve served his country throughout Europe. He Retired from Froehling and Robertson.
The family will receive friends Sunday, Jan. 30, from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm in the Bennett & Barden Funeral Home. Services will be held Monday, at 12:30 pm in the Bennett & Barden Chapel. Interment Virginia Veterans Cemetery, Amelia. Online condolences may be made at bennettbardenfh.com
