Susan Yeagle Livermon, 76, of Powhatan, Virginia, passed away peacefully on October 31, 2024. Born on February 24, 1948, in Miami, Florida, Susan was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend whose warmth and kindness left an indelible mark on everyone she knew.
Susan is preceded in death by her parents, Mary Elizabeth Yeagle and John Wesley Yeagle; her sister, Carol Yeagle Sullivan; and her cherished grand-fur babies, Petro, Crockett, and Autumn. She is survived by her devoted husband of 57 years, Robert Livermon; her loving children, Jason Livermon (Holly), Joshua Livermon (Gigi), Jordan Glunt (Michael), and Jacob Livermon (Caitlin); her adored grandchildren, Hannah Livermon (Hanna), Wesley Livermon, Joshua Livermon (Maria), and Logan Livermon; and her beloved sisters, Sandra Arnold Sokodich (James) of Cooper City, Florida, and Brenda Yeagle DuBois (Raymond) of Sparta, New Jersey.
Susan’s life was defined by resilience, love, and selflessness. Despite facing health challenges, her tenacity and strength allowed her to live fully and to love deeply. Family was at the heart of Susan’s world; she poured her soul into raising, nurturing, and delighting her children and grandchildren, often putting the needs of others before her own. Her loved ones will remember her as a passionate, giving soul who embodied kindness and was the very best mother, wife, and friend one could hope to have.
The family extends their deepest gratitude to the compassionate staff at Our Lady of Hope and Nayar Hospice, who provided Susan with exceptional care and comfort in her final days.
A visitation and celebration of life will be held on Saturday, November 16, 2024 from 12pm-3pm at Bennett & Barden Funeral Home, located at 3215 Anderson Hwy, Powhatan, VA.
