Sylvia Louise Oglesby

Sylvia Louise Oglesby, born June 20th, 1936, originally from Chesterfield, VA, passed peacefully in her home in Powhatan, VA on April 6, 2023, at the age of 86.
She is preceded in death by her husband William Oglesby and son Bob Oglesby.
She is survived by her son William Oglesby Jr., grandchildren; Bobby, Jacob, and Summer Oglesby, and one great-grandson, Grayson Oglesby.
 
Sylvia was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She loved reading, and watching the birds, especially cardinals and was always caring for the family around her. 
 
A visitation will be held from 10:00 am to 11:00 am on Saturday, April 15th, 2023, at Bennett & Barden Funeral Home located at 3215 Anderson Hwy, Powhatan Virginia 23139. Followed by a funeral service at 11:00 am. Internment Powhatan Community Cemetery, located at 3938 Old Buckingham Road Powhatan, VA 23139.
