Vander J. "Van" Ford Jr.

Vander J."Van" Ford, 71, of Powhatan, passed away after a brief Illness on January 9, 2019. He was preceded in death by his parents Jack and Janet Ford, Sr. and his brother in-law Clifford Mahone, Jr. He is survived by his sister, Judy F. Mahone of Powhatan; nephews Cliff Mahone, III (Cindy) of Powhatan, Mike Mahone (Becky) of Buckingham; grand niece and nephews, Clifford, IV, Zachary, Ryan, Abby and his companion Chris McHenry. The family will receive friends Saturday, January 19, 2019 from 2 to 3 p.m. in the Bennett & Barden Funeral Home, 3215 Anderson Hwy.(Rt.60), Powhatan with a memorial service following at 3 p.m.
