Vollie Mathew "VM" Paul, Jr.

Vollie Matthew "VM" Paul, Jr., 93 of Powhatan, passed away June 18, 2022. He was preceded in death by his wife of 50 years, Joan Elizabeth Paul. He is survived by 2 daughters, Lola Christine Linardos and Cynthia Paul Smither; 2 grandsons, Stephen Matthew Linardos and Paul Hampton Smither; devoted friend, Beverly Kimpel; and many friends. V.M. enjoyed volunteering for the state police. He served in the 5th Airforce from 1945-1948 and fought in World War II.

The family will receive friends Monday, June 27th from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM in the Bennett & Barden Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held Tuesday, at 1:00 PM in the Amelia Veterans Cemetery.
