Born in Powhatan, September 24, 1939. Walt was a retired rural
mail carrier. He is survived by his children,
Craig (Tonya), Scott (Donna), Michelle (Brian), grandchildren
Josh, Jessie, Hunter, Caleb, William, great granddaughter, Alyssa.
Walt loved his family, hunting, fishing and cooking BBQ. He
never forgot a birthday or a birthday cake. We will miss him.
The Family will receive friends Saturday, February 5th, from
3-5:00 PM in the Bennett & Barden Funeral Home.
