Wayne Carter, 65, of Powhatan, died January 13, 2013. He is survived by his wife, Janice L. Carter; two sons, Thomas Carter (Tina), John Carter (Wendy) both of Powhatan; one brother, Ronnie Carter of Greenville; one sister, Marie Carter of Richmond; five grandchildren, Jessica, Kevin, Brittany, Katie, Laura Carter; two great grandchildren, Desiree and Anthony; devoted friend, Robert Weakley. The family will receive friends Tuesday (tonight) from 6 to 8pm at the Bennett & Barden Funeral Home, 3215 Anderson Hwy.(Rte.60), Powhatan and where funeral services will be held Wednesday at 1:30pm. Interment Dale Memorial Park.
