William "Billy" J. Davis

William J. "Billy" Davis, 71, of Powhatan, went to be with the Lord September 20, 2017. He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Gloria H. Davis; son, Scott Davis; two brothers, Ronnie Davis (Ann), Danny Davis (Sue); mother in law, Mosephine Harris; brother in law, Monte Harris(Carolyn); two sisters in law, Darlene Bowlin (Ricky), Eva Cole (Billy) and many nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends Friday from 4 to 8 p.m. in the Bennett & Barden Funeral Home, 3215 Anderson Hwy.(Rt.60), Powhatan. A Celebration of Life service will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. in the Genito Presbyterian Church, 2910 Genito Rd., Powhatan. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Wounded Warriors Project, Powhatan Animal Shelter or Genito Presbyterian Church Building Fund.
