William Frank McCormick

William (Bill) Frank McCormick, 77 of Mosley, VA went to be with the Lord on October 25, 2024 after a long and difficult battle with an autoimmune disease, Polymyositis. Bill was born in Ocala, FL on May 5, 1947. 

After graduating Wildwood High School, he earned his B.S. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Florida. He retired as co-owner of PowerTech. Bill was a longtime resident of Wildwood Florida, prior to moving to VA where he has resided for 25 years. He was a dedicated follower of Christ and valued family and friends, he was an avid outdoorsman as well as a talented handyman. He did things on his own terms, and often with a sense of humor and a sharp wit.

He is survived, loved and missed by his wife of 24 years, Victoria McCormick of Moseley, VA; children, Jennifer (Steve), Hunter (Sarah), Matt and Katie (Rob); grandchildren, Gracie, Preston, Christian, Brynn, Ryan, Lillian, Raven, Spencer, Justin and Logan; great-grandchild, Freyja; siblings, Micheal, Daniel and Rebecca. He was preceded in death by his father, Frank and mother, Lavina.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, November 23, 2024 at 12:00 pm in the Heights Church, 12440 Gayton Road, Richmond, VA 23238. The family has requested in Lieu of flowers, please make donations to Mercy Mall of Virginia, in Bill's honor. Condolences can be made at bennettbardenfh.com.
