She retired from SunTrust Bank, then formed G&W Couriers in 1990 with her husband Gary. They later retired to Seven Springs, NC where they made their home and enjoyed retirement for 15 years. In Winnie's spare time, she loved to visit Topsail Island, NC where she and Gary held their second home. The family has many fond memories of having fun on the beach - Winnie's happy place.
The family would like to express our special thanks to Judy and Missy Moody (Seven Springs, NC} and Donna and Jiggs Gordon, Lynette, Cynthia and Pam (Powhatan, VA) for their loving care of Mom for the last 6 years.
