Wylene Mullins Peters, 73, of Powhatan, died September 23, 2013. She is survived by her children, Pamela S. West, Gary L. Shively, Tiffany P. O'Neill all of Powhatan; brother, Melvin G. Mullins of Boones Mill; sister, Carolyn M. Hartwick of South Carolina; five grandchildren, Aaron and Hunter West, Hannah and Sarah Shively and Victoria O'Neill. She was preceded in death by one daughter, Rhonda S. Grady. The family will receive friends Wednesday (tonight) from 6 to 8pm in the Bennett & Barden Funeral Home, 3215 Anderson Hwy.(Rt.60), Powhatan. Graveside services will be held Thursday at 2pm in the Mattoax Cemetery, Amelia. Online condolences may be made at bennettbardenfh.com
